Sometimes, we just need a bit of help. In the seventeen years I have been a therapist, I have helped many people overcome their anxiety, and rebuild a more effective, relaxed and enjoyable life.
Anxiety can often produce mental and physical symptoms that affect the whole body. This is something most people experience at some point in their life, but some of us find it more difficult to cope. With the ‘reptilian brain’ always engaged, your anxiety takes over, affecting decision making, working life and the relationships you have built. Anxious people can find it hard to communicate effectively, often experience physical symptoms and are likely to get into negative thought cycles which exacerbate the problem.
Depression affects a great many people worldwide, and can be debilitating, preventing you from enjoying the little things in everyday life. Ongoing research into the causes of depression reveal that a chemical imbalance is the cause of only a small percentage of cases. This means that depression is most likely psychological, and so can be overcome with professional help.
The way we work means that the client is the centre of our focus, allowing you to find the space you need to make lasting change and get back to enjoying all that life has to offer.
Low self esteem and confidence can both affect the way you see your life but fixing your confidence level and reestablishing good self esteem is easier than you think.
By changing your attitude to yourself and your inner voice you will begin to see yourself in a different light. I can teach you how to become more aware of your emotional reactions, and ultimately become the confident self assured person you want to be.
