‘BWRT®’ stands for ‘BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®’, a model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI. BWRT® is a new  therapy based on the latest discoveries about the way the brain works and how it affects your moods, behaviour and emotions. BWRT works by 'over writing' the way you feel now, with the way the way you would prefer to feel. We work only with your preferred ways to respond, making it feel natural to you personally.

Your brain takes in masses of information every second, much more than you are consciously aware of, and works continuously to filter that information based on past experience. Some of the responses your brain creates may no longer be helpful to you, for example, spiders equal danger.

BWRT works to change old patterns in a completely natural way which utilises the way your brain normally works, rewriting your previous responses with the way you really want to think, feel and act.

how can bwrt help you?

BWRT is completely different to other interventions because it allows us to intervene at a really early stage, even before the brain recognises a pattern and before the emotional response is created in the limbic system. 

This therapy is content free, meaning you can change your responses without having to disclose your experiences.

Sessions are structured and run to a process which has been proven to be highly effective. BWRT can help you overcome a range of problems and challenges; anxiety, phobias, fear and low self-esteem, as well as addiction and PTSD.
